A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following a 'serious assault' in Gwynedd.
North Wales Police say they are appealing for witnesses following the incident which occurred in the Maesgeirchen area of Bangor.
At approximately 4.30pm on Wednesday (April 22), a vulnerable adult male was seriously assaulted within the stairwell of Llys Branwen flats on Greenwood Avenue.
Detective Inspector Andy Gibson said: "We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen or heard the disturbance, and also anyone who may have seen persons enter or leave the block of flats during this relevant time.
"A 35 year old male has been arrested and is currently in police custody, and our enquiries into this incident are continuing."
