FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze for around three hours at a lodge on Anglesey in the early hours of this morning.

North Wales Fire and Rescue were called at 2.14am to attend an address at Isallt Lodges, Trearddur Bay.

A spokesperson said: "Three appliances were at the scene and aerial ladder platform was used to help strip tiles from the roof. A hose reel was also used at the scene.

"The cause of the fire was believed to be due to a fault in an electrical box outside the property. The stop was made at 5.15am."
