A ROOM in a Connah's Quay factory was destroyed by an accidental fire, it has been confirmed.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly after midday on Monday reporting the incident at a property in Dock Road.
Two crews attended the scene - one each from Deeside and Flint - and firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
A spokesman for the service told the Leader 100 per cent fire damage was caused to the room where the blaze started, as well as 20 per cent damage to the rest of the building.
The cause was found to be an accidental electrical fault with an electrical heating blanket.
Nobody was injured in the incident, the spokesman added.
