Residents and businesses have gone above and beyond to help Powys' incredible NHS staff during the coronavirus outbreak - from volunteer drivers to donating shower gel.
Now, Powys Teaching Health Board has thanked each one and every one of them for giving their time to help health and care workers keep going.
Clever door handles
Rosie, owner of Ring O Rosie's Crafts in Neath, has very cleverly made 15 acrylic door handle openers for the Ystradgynlais District Nursing Team to reduce risk of transferring contaminants on their daily calls. All made free of charge!
"It was my husband's idea to make them," said Rosie. "We originally made them for our neighbour and her team (she's a nurse in Ystragynlais) and now we are supplying them to other areas too, like Cardiff."

'Lovely' letter
Four-year-old Edith sent a lovely letter and drawing to NHS staff in Powys. It read: “To Nurses, thank you, from Edith” with a picture of a nurse, a house and a virus - cute!

Lemon meringue pie
South Powys Mental Health Crisis Team would like to thank the The Honey Cafe in Bronllys for their kind donation of lemon meringue pie. When they closed their doors because of coronavirus they offered their remaining freshly-made desserts to local frontline staff.
Volunteer driver
“I have a full driving licence, no points and a DBS certificate," said one person who contacted the health board to ask whether they needed any volunteer drivers.
Powys Teaching Health Board were able to direct him to a dedicated website where people can find out about volunteering opportunities to support the response to coronavirus in Powys:

And finally...
... and ward Manager Michelle who arranged special cakes as a thank you to her team on Llewellyn Ward at Bronllys Hospital for their amazingly hard work.#COVIDheroes #TeamPowys #arwyrCOVID #tîmPowys https://t.co/zgCGp8uine pic.twitter.com/QN7SbfNwni
