A LONGSTANDING business in Wrexham has praised its staff during the coronavirus outbreak.

The family operated Edwards Dairies in Chirk, which has been established since 1961, took to social media on March 23, to applaud its dedicated employees who have 'gone above and beyond' to ensure supply and demand is met during the virus pandemic.

They posted: “We just wanted to let all of our customers know how extremely proud we are of every single member of the team at Edward's Dairies.

"Every team player has gone above and beyond this last week to ensure all deliveries to existing and new customers are made with no complaining of how hard the job has been.

"Our office team have been working around the clock, taking call after call, email after email from 6am till 6pm most nights, if not later to ensure customer needs have been met, down to stock levels are kept at all times and vehicles running smoothly without fault.

"Our drivers have been working up to 12 hours shifts on the road delivering to our wonderful customers new and old and not complained once.

"So we would like you all to raise a glass of milk to all the team.

"We wouldn't be the company we are today if it wasn't for you all."

The business currently delivers a wide range of products, including fresh milk, cream, eggs, yoghurts, cheese, fizzy pop, local meats and fresh fruit and vegetables, to doorsteps, retailers and wholesalers.
