AN ICELAND store in Gwynedd is now offering a shopping hour dedicated to NHS staff only.
The supermarket chain's store in Bangor, located in the Deiniol Shopping Centre, has joined other stores across the nation, including Holyhead on Anglesey, by offering the first hour of the day (9am-10am) solely to elderly and vulnerable customers.
However, it is now also set to make the last opening hour of the day (4pm-5pm) exclusive to NHS workers.
A spokesperson said: "Now we are open for the final hour for NHS staff only. You will be required to show ID on the door as this hour is exclusively to NHS staff.
"This means that 9am-10am remains for elderly and vulnerable customers, 10am-4pm is open to all other customers and 4pm-5pm is for NHS staff only.
"Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this difficult and challenging time."
