Police in Newtown are appealing to anyone who saw a Mercedes car driver fail to stop after two crashes.
Officers say that the black high-powered vehicle failed to stop after colliding with a stationary car and was also involved in a near miss in New Mills on Saturday, March 14.
The driver of the Mercedes also failed to stop after crashing into a fence on the back road to Tregynon from New Mills.
Luckily, no one was hurt. However, the car was found later that day by police in the area of the final crash.
The car was seen travelling from Berriew Village Hall to Tregynon at around 6.30pm on Saturday, March 14.
Police officers are now appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
Dyfed-Powys Police would also like to speak to anyone with CCTV of the B4390 road or dash cam footage.
Police Constable Marcus Wright, from Newtown's Roads Policing Unit, said the type of driving was "not acceptable".
"We're looking for support from the public to stop this kind of thing from happening.
"We need to get them prosecuted and off the road. We want to make sure people get home safely and not let people drive how they want, but how they should.
"That's why Powys seems to be a race circuit."
