THE MUSLIM Council of Wales is urging Mosques to suspend congregational prayers amid coronavirus concerns.
The organisation says it is "strongly urging mosques to suspend congregational prayers until further notice".
It added: "We urge all Welsh mosques to undertake an assessment of their activities and cease those that present a risk to themselves or others."
It is also urging all weddings and other social gatherings to be cancelled.
North Wales is home to six Mosques; three in Rhyl and one each in Wrexham, Llandudno Junction and Bangor.
