AN event held in Wrexham over the weekend has raised over £2,000 for the 'Unbeatable Eva' campaign.
Volunteers held the bag packing event at the Morrisons store, on March 14 and 15, which resulted in an incredible amount of £2320.18 raised to send nine-year-old, Eva to America for the £250,000 medical trial for her inoperable and incurable brain tumour, known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
A spokesperson for the 'Unbeatable Eva' Facebook page, said: "We had enough volunteers on the Sunday to cover all of the tills within the store.
"On just the Sunday alone, we raised a whopping £1,539.13.
"Thank you to the wonderfully generous customers and to Morrisons for having us.
"Thank you also for all your kind words and messages of support for Eva and the family.
"The response has been unbelievable."
