A FLINTSHIRE road was closed this evening following a two vehicle collision.
The incident happened just before 6pm on Monday at the White Lion crossroads near Penyffordd. North Wales Police confirmed the road closure as a result and advised motorists to avoid the area.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that two of its appliances were sent to the scene but left just after 8pm.
However, just before 8.45pm, North Wales Police have confirmed the road has now re-opened and thanked members of the public for their patience.

It is not known at this stage if anyone was injured.
