A COLEG Llandrillo construction student has been awarded the title of Learner of the Month by a UK-wide magazine.

Apprentice Josh Morales, 21 from Pentrefoelas, Betws-y-Coed, who is employed by Snowdonia Plumbing and Heating and attends the Rhos-on-Sea campus, won an extensive range of industry tools from HIP Magazine.

Chris Walling, Josh’s tutor said: “For an inexperienced apprentice, the standard of his work and his attitude are excellent. He works with minimal supervision and is progressing really well.”

Josh added: “I’m honoured and proud to be chosen to receive this award. I have only been in the industry for a couple of years. The most important advice I've had is ‘fail to prepare, prepare to fail’.”
