A 30 YEAR old man was captured on CCTV as he punched another man to the ground and stamped on him in the centre of Llandudno late at night.
Wayne King, of Cae Mawr, Llandudno, on benefit, admitted affray and possessing cocaine on November 11. He denied assault causing actual bodily harm and this allegation was dropped.
Prosecutor Gareth Parry told magistrates at Llandudno: “There’s no complaint from the victim and there’s no evidence offered.”
Mr Parry said King was “heavily” convicted.
King was granted unconditional bail until he’s sentenced at Caernarfon crown court on March 27. The court chairwoman said it was a “serious and sustained” attack.
Defence solicitor Graham Parry said the alleged assault victim was a convicted drug dealer and had snorted something in a bus stop.
He said the men involved in the street rumpus had been to Club 147 and drinking. There was a scuffle on the dance floor.
A confrontation then happened in Mostyn Street as King made his way home and police were alerted by a CCTV operator.
