A TEENAGER has sustained life threatening injuries following a bike crash.

This happened in Tregarth during the early hours of this morning on Wednesday, March 4.

North Wales Police were called to reports of the incident at 1.30am. The crash involved an off-road bike whereby the bike had collided with a wall.

A 16-year-old rider was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor. He has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke.

Sergeant Meurig Jones of the Roads Policing Unit said: “Our inquiries to establish what happened are underway and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have seen the bike being ridden prior to the collision, to come forward.”
