A WIDNES man has been jailed following a string of thefts across Runcorn over two weeks.
Jack Welch, of Terrace Road, stole a hoover worth £120 and £50 of coffee from B&M in January.
He then stole £50 of Oil of Olay creams from LLoyds Pharmacy and more than £80 of coffee and chocolates from Co-op.
The 23-year-old was arrested on February 4 and appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court last Friday.
He pleaded guilty of all the offences and was jailed for 20 weeks and given a £122 fine due to his record.
