HOLYHEAD Hotspur are set to host an evening with a former Wales international.

On March 7, John Hartson will be heading to the Welsh Alliance One side’s clubhouse.

The forward appeared for the likes of Arsenal, West Ham and Celtic during his 16 year footballing career. The 44-year-old also scored 14 goals in 51 caps for Wales before retiring from the game in 2007.

In July 2009, Hartson went through a battle with testicular cancer which had spread to his brain. The life-long Swansea City fan was given the all-clear from the cancer in December 2009.

He is now known for being a pundit on the likes of BT Sport.

The event at Hotspur will be lead by compere Colin Hawkins and promises to be a night to remember. Further info, contact Ben on 07837278824 or Dave on 07899840968,
