AN ANIMAL Rescue Centre is looking for people to take on the challenge of whizzing down a zip wire to help them raise money.

Freshfields, which has a base in Nebo, Caernarfon, is looking for participants to head to Zip World and help them raise some much needed funds in the process.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 4.

Debbie Hughes, PR and Communications for Freshfields, said: “We hope lots of people will join in this fantastic fundraising activity for the animals. Enjoy this breathtaking experience, with stunning views of the North Wales mountains and valleys and raise much-needed funds for abused, unwanted and abandoned animals.

"Everyone who's done it says it's exhilarating and enormous fun, so why not have a day out with your friends, family or co-workers and encourage each other along the way.”

Freshfields say they will pay anyone who takes part a small fee - all they ask is for participants to pay a non-refundable deposit of £20 and raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship, which will go towards the centre.
