A MAN has been fined after admitting assaulting a doorman on a works night out.
Darryl James Hilson, 37, of Albert Street, was told he couldn’t enter Senso in Wrexham town centre on December 27 because he had had too much to drink.
Despite initially turning to leave, Hilson swung his arm and caught Nathan Griffiths, leaving him with a bloody nose.
Euros Jones, defending, told Mold Magistrates Court that Hilson wasn’t used to drinking that much alcohol and was very embarrassed to be before the courts.
He was fined £306, ordered to pay compensation of £50 and must also pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £32.
