On Saturday, February 1, Trannon Valley Voices ladies’ choir will bring the music of The West End, to Trefeglwys, in a special charity event.

They will be joined by the well known saxophonist Phil Jones, to provide an evening of top class entertainment.

“Phil is a great musician”, said one choir member, “and we are so lucky that he has agreed to be our guest for the evening.”

The choir has put together a programme of iconic songs from stage and screen greats including ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Sister Act’, and added a touch of its own magic to the show.

The concert proceeds are to be donated to Ysgol Dyffryn Trannon, St Michael’s Church and Trefeglwys Memorial Hall, which will benefit the whole community.

In addition to fabulous music, the ladies are including Prosecco and home made puddings in the ticket price.

The concert will be staged at Trefeglwys Memorial Hall, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 each and can be obtained from Fiona on 01686 430243, Sian on 01686 430237, or any choir member.

A warm welcome is extended to everyone.
