THERE will be a Chinese New Year theme at the next memory café meeting at St Andrew’s Church on Sealand Road in Garden City.
The next meeting will take place at the church hub on Monday (January 27), and comes just two days after the Year of the Rat begins.
As usual, the free of charge meeting will be a place for people to come together and get to know one another while also offering support to those who suffer from dementia.
Speaking ahead of Monday’s memory café meeting, Councillor Christine Jones said: “It is a lovely opportunity for people to get together and chat, especially for those with dementia.
“With it being Chinese New Year, that will be our theme! One of our volunteers will even be preparing some Chinese style food for guests.”
The memory café meetings are completely free for anyone to attend, and take place at St Andrew’s Church on the fourth Monday of each month.
