POLICE have found a body in the River Tees following reports that a man had entered the water from a Stockton bridge.
Cleveland officers and specialist divers launched a search around Victoria Bridge over the Tees in Stockton on Saturday.
It had been reported that a man had been seen entering the river at about 6am.
Sadly, police have since confirmed that they have found a body.
A spokesman said: "His family has been informed and is receiving support from officers.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious."
