A YOUNG woman was robbed in the street of the trainers she was wearing, it was alleged on Friday.
Jason Pickett, 20, appeared in custody at Llandudno court and his solicitor said he was likely to plead guilty to robbery.
Magistrates turned down an application for bail by Andrew Scott, defending, who said Pickett lived with his father in Liverpool.
Pickett was remanded in custody to appear at Caernarfon crown court on January 31.
Diane Williams, prosecuting, said it happened in Harlech on January 3 and the vulnerable victim, “with a history of drugs”, was in such fear that she handed over her trainers.
“She felt humiliated,” added Mrs Williams.
