A SECONDARY school in Gwynedd has been closed today (Thursday) due to a gas leak.
An emergency closure has been put into place at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, Caernarfon and the school will be closed throughout the day.
However, a GCSE exam scheduled to take place will still be going ahead, with pupils told to meet at the Arfon Leisure Centre, next door to the school building for 12.30pm.
A message on the Gwynedd Council website stated: "Gas-leak on site. Health and Social pupils who have GCSE examination to meet in the leisure centre at 12.30pm."
