POLICE are informing motorists to avoid the A499 in Gwynedd as they deal with an collision.
The incident, involving a car and a lorry, has taken place just outside Llanbedrog, near Pwllheli.
They say "delays are likely" and are urging drivers to use alternative routes where possible.
The Welsh Ambulance Service were also at the scene. A spokesperson said: “We were called on Friday January 3 at approximately 13:14 to reports of a road traffic accident involving a car and a lorry near Llanbedrog.
"We responded with one emergency ambulance. One patient was treated at the scene.”
