A DRINK driver was caught by Police in Gwynedd just two-and-a-half minutes into the new decade.
The driver, apprehended in Bangor, was more than twice over the legal limit.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police Bangor and Bethesda said: "Sadly, it didn't take long for us to stop the first drink driver of the new decade in Bangor...just 2 mins 38 secs into 2020 with this reading of more than twice over the legal limit."

Inspector Jon Aspinall added: "Despite repeated warnings to motorists not to drink or drug drive, people are still taking unnecessary risks.
"People may think we only focus on this at Christmas - we don't, and if you continue to drink or drug drive, you will be caught."
