North Wales Fire and Rescue
A PERSON was trapped in a small car during a road traffic collision on the A55 on Anglesey moments into the New Year.
Fire, police and ambulance services were called to the incident, at six minutes past midnight on January 1, on the eastbound carriageway, near Caergeiliog.
The area between junction 4 and 5 of the road was closed for several hours and a diversion through Bryngwran in operation.
Two fire crews from Holyhead and one from Amlwch attended the incident.
A spokesperson for the North Wales Fire and Rescue said no further details were available as the incident was now under investigation by the police.
