Another Christmas has come and gone, and in many homes leaving a trail of clutter: unwanted Christmas presents and cupboards bursting.

With the freshness of the New Year it is a great time to declutter.

Jamie Parks, St David’s Hospice warehouse manager at Mochdre, said: “As many people intend to start the New Year with a clear head, it may be a good idea to start with a clean and organised house as well, start as you mean to go on.

“The St David’s Hospice's 26 charity shops across Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey rely entirely on the generous donation of items from supporters to fill their shelves. We would gratefully welcome your unwanted items.”

“For every bag of goods donated to St David’s Hospice, an average of £20 will be raised for the local charity, which can be increased by gift aiding the donation.”

He added: “If you want to make a donation please ensure all items are in good condition, clean and complete, and where appropriate that they work correctly. They can be dropped off at the St David’s Hospice Donation Centres on Quinton Hazel Enterprise Park, Mochdre (01492 547836) or Builder Street, Llandudno (01492 878935).
