The Conservatives have held their seat in Montgomeryshire, with Craig Williams receiving 20,020 votes.
Mr Williams said that it is a "privilege" to be elected and that he looks forward to working with a lot of Conservative MPs in Parliament.
"Thank you for the people in my constituency for giving me a strong mandate and dare I say it, get Brexit done," he said.
Mr Williams, former MP for Cardiff North, was put up for the seat after Glyn Davies stepped down.

Kishan Devani, Liberal Democrats - 7,882
Kait Duerden, Labour - 5,585
Gwyn Wigley Evans, Gwlad Gwlad - 727
There were 213 ballots rejected.
