SOME bus services in Wrexham will be taken off the streets whilst resurfacing work is carried out.
From Monday, December 9, Edwards Avenue in Brymbo will be closed by Wrexham Council’s Highways Department for three days whilst resurfacing work is carried out.
A spokesman for Arriva Buses Wales added that this will affect their 12, 12A and 14 services.
The spokesman confirmed the following diversions will be in place for three days - until Wednesday, December 11.

Speaking about the Route 12 and 12A Wrexham to Brymbo services, they said: “Buses will operate as normal to Brymbo Green Road then divert via The Tai Inn, straight on at the roundabout up to Brymbo Old Steelworks Building, take the second exit in to Brymbo New High Street and terminate at Brymbo Miners Arms Inn.
“Buses from Brymbo to Wrexham will commence from Brymbo Miners Arms Inn and operate as normal.”
The closure will also have an impact on the Route 14 service from Wrexham to Brymbo.
The spokesman added: “Buses from Wrexham to Brymbo will operate as normal to Brymbo Old Steelworks, take first exit in to Brymbo New High Street and terminate at Brymbo Miners Arms Inn.
“Buses from Brymbo to Wrexham will commence from Brymbo Miners Arms Inn and operate via Brymbo High Street, turn right into Coed-y-Felin Road, continue past The Tai Inn, straight on at the roundabout to Brymbo Old Steelworks Building, take first exit into Phoenix Drive and then normal route to Wrexham.”
