OFFICERS are reminding caravan owners to ensure they remove valuables from their caravans over the winter when they are unoccupied for a prolonged period.
The advice comes after a number of Caravan Leisure batteries were stolen from touring caravans in Gwynedd South area.
PCSO Gareth Jones said: “A number of sites have been targeted and we are urging owners to remove valuables and batteries from their caravans and also to leave the battery compartment unlocked to prevent any potential thieves causing damage to the caravans.”
Anyone with information in respect of the thefts is asked to contact PCSO 3480 Gareth Jones at Dolgellau Police Station on 101 quoting reference 19100608648.
