THE WREXHAM shoebox appeal for the homeless is up and running.
With Christmas just around the corner, an appeal has been launched for items to handed to the homeless.
Ideal items include socks, gloves, hats, thermal underwear, chocolate, aerosols, flasks, combs and torches.
Also appealed for are Christmas cards where you can leave a heartfelt message, as well as recreational items such as puzzle books.
The items will then be put into shoeboxes and handed out to homeless people on Wrexham's streets.
The drop-off point for items is Apollo Taxis' office which can be found on Charles Street, LL13 BBT - and the deadline to drop items off is December 13.
If you own a business and want it to become a drop-off point, message Wrexham homeless - People Helping People on Facebook.
