EIGHT residential properties and businesses have been targeted by thieves in Llanfairfechan.

North Wales Police is urging people to check their security measures following recent thefts.

Businesses have seen charity boxes stolen whilst sheds and garages have mainly been targeted since July.

The most recent incident was in the West Shore area of the town last week.

PCSO 3913 Sara Owen said: “Most of the residential incidents have involved items being stolen from sheds and garages, while the businesses have had money /charity boxes taken.”

“We are asking members of the public to remain vigilant within the Llanfairfechan area and ensure their sheds and outbuildings are secured properly.”
