The woman is believed to have gone missing on Snowdon.
CONCERNS have been raised by Police for a woman who got into difficulties while on Snowdon.
Officers believe the climber could be missing after she was spotted in distress on the mountain at around 2.30pm on Thursday.
Thee added that the woman may be from the Manchester area but was due to stay with a friend in Caernarfon.
It is as yet unclear whether or not she made it off the mountain and police are "keen to make sure that she has returned safely".
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to come forward.
A spokesman added: "If you are waiting for someone to arrive and they haven’t turned up yet please make contact with North Wales Police."
