A MAN from Gwynedd was arrested over the weekend, having been found in possession of a 'substantial amount' of cash and drugs.

The 26-year-old from the Caernarfon area was caught in Bangor on Saturday and is currently in custody for questioning.

Inspector Jon Aspinall said: “This is a significant find for us and one that sends a clear message to those involved in the supply of illegal drugs that we will continue to make every effort to reduce the impact that the sale of these substances has on the local community.

"Our proactivity will not stop and we will continue to make arrests to make the community safe.”
