A SOCIAL group which offers support to widowed people is meeting again on Anglesey.
The Anglesey & Gwynedd Widowed social group, held its first successful meeting in September at the The Valley Hotel.
The group has been set up to help people “enjoy life again” whilst gaining friendship and understanding in the company of other people who have lost their partners.
The second meeting of the group is again being held at the The Valley Hotel, Valley, at 1pm, on Friday, October 25.
As well as meetings, the social group organises walks, talks, trips to the opera, ballet, gigs, cinema, meals, pub quiz and weekends away. Organisers say people aged 50 -70 will “get the most” from membership as the group aims to be “active, out and about.”
A spokesperson said: “The first meeting proved very popular, but we’d still like to reach out to more people.”
The group is for anyone from Bangor, Anglesey, Menai Bridge, Caernarfon and the Llyn area.
