AN AFTERNOON tea and fish and chips supper event is set to raise money for a charity supporting children and young people with autism at the end of this month.
From 6.30pm at the Creatasmile Centre in Towyn on October 25, guests will get together to raise funds for the charity of the same name.
Special guest on the day will be Andrew Edwards, who was himself diagnosed with Autism at the age of four.
He later emerged from a turbulent childhood to secure his dream job as a statistician at Manchester United Television.
After leaving MUTV after eleven and a half years in April 2014, Andrew secured a book deal to write his autistic memoir entitled “I’ve Got a Stat for You-My Life with Autism”.
This was following an interview on his life with John Humphrys on BBC Radio Four’s flagship Today Programme on Easter Saturday 2015.
