A SWINGING, edgy and inventive pianist who many jazz fans will recognise as a member of the renowned Magic Hat Ensemble is coming to Menai Bridge.
Andrzej Baranek (keyboards) has performed with many UK jazz stars including Dave O'Higgins and Enrico Tomasso.
One of the most in-demand accompanists in the North West, Andrzej comes to the Victoria Hotel on October 30 (8pm).
He will be leading his own outstanding quartet which features Hugo Harrison (double bass), Hugh Lawrence (drums), plus special guest saxophonist Andor Jensen.
Merseyside-based tenor sax player Andor regularly astounds audiences and peers alike with a commanding technique and a deep feeling for the jazz and bebop repertoire.
A graduate of London’s Guildhall School of Music, Andor has previously been described as being one of the North West's best kept secrets in the music industry.
