A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital after fracturing her lower leg on the descent path from Mynydd Sygyn, above Beddgelert.
The woman was walking in a party of four.
Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team were alerted shortly before 6pm on Friday, October 11.
A spokesperson said: "Team attended, stabilised the casualty and administered pain relief.
"Due to the treacherous conditions underfoot, assistance was requested by a Coastguard Rescue Helicopter from Caernarfon, who airlifted the female to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor.
"The team then escorted the three remaining members of the party to safety using fixed ropes.
"We wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
