BRITISH transport police have highlighted the "idiotic" behaviour of the person who threw a bicycle onto an Anglesey railway line moments before a train passed.
On Thursday evening, the child's bike was thrown onto the Level Crossing at Valley.
BTP North Wales said in a Tweet on Friday, October 4: "Luckily, the Network Rail Wales Signaller noticed and no damage was caused to train or bike.
"We see a lot of foolish behaviour in our job - but this was especially idiotic."
BTP North Wales added: "If your child lost their bike in Valley yesterday, get in touch and they will check if it matches the bike we have recovered."
If you know who threw the bike on the line contact the police on 0800405040 and quote Log 543 03.
