WREXHAM’S Turf Hotel has reopened following a £60,000 facelift.
Following an exterior refurbishment last year, the Mold Road venue has had a comprehensive interior makeover by market-leading community pub operator Hawthorn Leisure.
It now boasts new flooring and carpets, modernised toilets, a new colour scheme, and two new pool tables.

The bar has also been reconfigured, and customers can watch BT Sport on four screens.
Wayne Jones, Landlord of The Turf, said: “I’m incredibly happy with how it’s turned out.
“Regulars who come here will tell you that the place needed some money spending on it, it was quite dark and dank really, and it looks a thousand times better now.
“It feels like a new beginning, a fresh start and I couldn’t be happier with the way it looks, it feels much bigger.”
