A BANGOR blaze which destroyed a motorhome and then spread to three other vehicles has prompted a police plea for witnesses.
North Wales Police are calling for anyone who saw "anything suspicious" when the fire happened on land on Beach Road, opposite the Bangor fire station, on Saturday night.
They are also asking anyone who may have CCTV overlooking the area to get in touch.
North Wales Fire and Rescue had received multiples calls to the fire at 10.41pm. Crews from Bangor and Llanfairfechan used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one thermal imaging camera to put out the flames.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police asks: "Were you in the Beach Road area of Bangor between 10.20pm and 11pm, on Saturday, September 21?
"Did you see anything suspicious or a van on fire in the car park, which damaged a number of other vehicles.
"If you know anything or have CCTV overlooking the car park call 101 ref 19100545978."
A spokesperson for the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received multiple calls about the fire, at around 10.41pm on Saturday night, there were at least 14 calls.
“They reported a fire in a camper van which spread through three other vehicles, they were well alight and seriously damaged.”
