FIREFIGHTERS from Menai Bridge and Bangor were called to a skip fire near Menai Bridge.
The incident was at an address on the road between the A5025 anndthe B5420, at 8.01pm, on Sunday.
One fire crew from Menai Bridge and one from Bangor attended the incident, in which household waste caught alight in an industrial skip.
The fire fighters used one main jet and one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. It is thought the fire was sparked by a battery igniting.
A fire crews was also called to a bin fire outside a pub in Caernarfon. One crew from the town was called to Eastgate, where a discarded cigarette had sparked a fire at 1.05pm, on Sunday.
