DID you see a one vehicle collision in which a woman was seriously injured on the A496 at Bontddu?

North Wales Police are appealing for people to cast their minds back.

The collision happened at 12.41am on August, 5 between Barmouth and Bontddu when a silver Toyota Corolla collided with a tree.

The female passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and the male driver has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on bail pending further enquiries.

DC 3170 Aron Humphreys said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or seen the extensively damaged vehicle on the road.”

“I am particularly keen to identify a man who spoke to the man and woman at the scene, as he may have information which may be key to the investigation.”

“He was said to be driving a dark coloured vehicle and was believed to be travelling to the London area.”

“I would encourage this person to make contact with police. I also appeal to anyone who may have seen the silver Toyota travelling along the road prior to the collision to come forward or anyone who may have dashcam footage from their vehicle.”
