A 41-YEAR-OLD man has today (Monday) at Caernarfon crown court denied a charge of conspiring with others to remove from England and Wales 7.8 million US dollars, the proceeds of crime.
Michael Kinane of High Street, Porthmadog, also pleaded not guilty to three charges of fraud to gain top of the range cars. Charges allege he claimed falsely to be an employee of Shell to obtain an Audi, to be the owner of a Shell garage to get a Mercedes, and a director of Shell to get a Range Rover.
The hearing was via video link from remand prison. Kinane was further remanded in custody by Judge Huw Rees and his trial will take place at Caernarfon on February 6 and will take up to a week
