A GWYNEDD man's life has changed forever after he won £500,000 during an appearance on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
Davyth Fear, originally from Cornwall but now living in the Caernarfon area, was just one question away from winning the top prize on the ITV Show fronted by Jeremy Clarkson.
A former Geography teacher at Ysgol Uwchradd Bodedern on Anglesey, Mr Fear had powered his way through questions on mountains and Al Capone.

Eventually, he ended up taking the £500,000 rather than answering the final question which asked which of the four celebrities were born in the same year as The Queen.
He also used his 'phone a friend' lifeline but the person on the other end of the phone could not help him answer the final question.
Following his success on the show, floods of Mr Fear's friends and former pupils took to social media to praise his performance and congratulate him on winning the cash sum.
