ARMED police arrested a man in a “firearms incident” on the A55 on Thursday.
The Cheshire and North Wales Police Alliance armed policing unit said it “stopped safely” a vehicle near St Asaph Business Park.
Several vehicles from the joint regional police department, set up in 2014 to improve incident response times, were pictured at the scene where the man was taken into custody.
A spokesperson for the armed policing unit tweeted: “There has been a firearms incident at the A55 at St Asaph Business Park.
”The vehicle was stopped safely and the subject has been arrested.”
