A Welshpool man has admitted assaulting his wife on three separate occasions.
Martin Radcliffe Pryce, 47, admitted a charge of grievous bodily harm and two charges of assault against his wife.
At Mold Crown Court and Judge Rhys Rowlands rebailed the defendant until September 19 to give the prosecution time to consider the basis of plea submitted.
The judge ordered a pre-sentence report and said that all sentencing options would remain open.
As part of his bail conditions Pryce is excluded from Hall Street in Welshpool, the former matrimonial flat, and must stay at his parents' home at Bridgend Cottages in Churchstoke.
