A 30-YEAR-OLD pedal cyclist has died following a road traffic collision in Gwynedd.
North Wales Police were informed by the Ambulance Service of a two vehicle collision on the A493 in Arthog on Sunday, August 11.
The cyclist had collided with a Honda CRV that was towing a caravan, shortly after 1:30pm.
The cyclist was airlifted to hospital in Stoke, however sadly, he died during the early hours of Monday morning.
Sergeant Meurig Jones of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses.
He said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
“We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have seen the cyclist just prior to the collision to come forward.
“Our investigation is underway and anybody who may be able to assist is urged to contact us on 101 or via our live web chat quoting reference number X115603.”
