THERE is a chance for farmers to find out more about Brexit at a consultation and seminar being held at the Anglesey Show.

Following the launch of the Welsh Government consultation ‘Sustainable Farming and our Land,’ and the threat of a ‘No Deal Brexit’ NFU Cymru is holding a discussion and seminar.

The event is at the NFU Cymru’s stand at the Mona Showground on Wednesday, August 14. Starting at 1.30pm, it will discuss the current consultation and allow members find out the latest Brexit developments. It is also a chance to feed thoughts to the NFU Cymru team.

Brian Bown, NFU Cymru Anglesey County Chairman chairing the seminar said: “The consultation, which contains revised proposals that follow on from the previous Brexit and Our Land consultation, is hugely important for Welsh farming as it sets out proposals around future farming policy and support measures in Wales post-Brexit. While NFU Cymru will respond with our views, it is vitally important that we all put our own responses in, to ensure the industry’s voice is heard.”

Join Brian Bown, NFU Cymru President John Davies and NFU Cymru Head of Policy, Dylan Morgan at the event to hear about the consultation and work by NFU Cymru with regards to Brexit.
