RHYL have further strengthened their squad ahead of the new JD Cymru North campaign with the signings of Dan Sullivan and Keighan Jones.

The duo become the latest to lend their support to the Lilywhites’ expected promotion bid, with Eddie Maurice-Jones putting the finishing touches to the senior set-up after an encouraging pre-season against high profile opposition.

Talented defender Sullivan is no stranger to the Educate Group Stadium, having joined the Lilies’ last summer before moving on during the January window to FC Nomads.

He has featured heavily during friendly fixtures and also lists Caernarfon Town, Flint Town United and Denbigh Town among his former clubs.

Maurice-Jones, said: "I’m delighted Danny has returned to the club. His ability and technique looks effortless when playing.

“Danny is an intelligent footballer with a great passing range. His awareness and skill to read games shows his understanding of the game. I’m sure Danny will become a strong member of the team."

Goalkeeper Jones has taken the eye of the management team during pre-season after he was called into the fold following injuries to Jonathan Hill-Dunt and Rory Crowther.

The shot-stopper started last season at second tier side Conwy Borough before moving the JD Cymru Premier outfit Bala Town, where he featured for Colin Caton’s side in the top flight.

“I’ve known and worked with Keighan previously so I’m aware of the great attributes he has to offer,” added Maurice-Jones.

“Keighan kindly helped us out for one of our earlier friendlies and did extremely well. Jonathan and Rory have unfortunately been suffering with minor injuries which has given Keighan the opportunity to showcase what he has to offer and this has warranted offering him a place in the squad.

“Keighan is an excellent keeper and brings tough competition, his confidence in his own ability is great to see."
