WITH few other races to choose, members of Prestatyn Running Club turned out in no fewer than five different parkruns on Saturday.

Seven of them travelled to Chester, where they supported clubmate Emma Birchall and the Feel, Find, Mind campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer.

The only other member in competitive action at the weekend was Nigel Bakewell, who took on the special challenge of the Snowdonia Trail Marathon from Llanberis.

The tough course took in Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert and Pen-y-Pass, and Nigel did well to finish 405th out of 672, with a time of

six hours, 54 minutes and 25 seconds.

Nine members braved the murky, miserable conditions in last week's Druids fell-race from Llanferres towards Moel Famau, which attracted a sizeable field.
